Since it was founded in 1973 by Brian and Eileen Richards, Thackerays has grown into one of the most respected independent fashion retailers in the country. Its success hasn't come by chance, but by keeping to the formula laid out by its founders. Our brands are premium, but good value. Our service is personal, but not pushy. We've carried this way of working over to our online store, so every customer has a great experience online that's backed up by first-rate service.

The Group

The heart of Thackerays' business is in Northampton. On Wellingborough Road lies Thackerays Man+Woman, our main store offering contemporary fashion for men and women. Opposite that is Thackerays Heritage, with tailoring and more classic casuals exclusively for men. Elsewhere in the town is Circus, offering unique and edgy lines for men and women.

The line up is completed by three dedicated HUGO BOSS stores, located in Milton Keynes, Leicester and Nottingham, offering the breadth and depth of BOSS' collections for men and women.
